Phil Haire

Bassist Phil Haire spent his entire childhood lost in a dinghy somewhere off the coast of Cape Cod. In 1982 he found shore and decided he would like to be as far from the ocean as possible. He packed up both shirts and made his way to Minnesota. Missing the low roar of ship horns, Phil soon found himself attracted to the bass guitar. Building his chops in the topper of his Chevy Luv pick-up, Phil has since annoyed local bands The Counting Crabs, Ned Nasal and the Nose-Picking Nine, and the acclaimed Please Kill Me (a Don Henley tribute band).
